Dr. John Elkins Found the true meaning of health through his uncle, Dr. Fred Elkins (a Wapakoneta Native), one of his many relatives who are chiropractors. Dr. John Elkins believes that chiropractic care is for all ages of people. He adjusts day old newborns to patients in their 90's.

Dr. John Elkins Believes, "The key is to specify your technique to your patient and listen to them, not specify your patient to your technique."

Between Dr. Amy Elkins and Dr. John Elkins, they have trained in most chiropractic techniques. These ranges from very light and gentle to more aggressive and deep adjustments. They also can perform hands-on traditional manual manipulation to instrument and table assisted adjustments. Dr. John Elkins adjust the spine to relieve nerve interference, therefore, improving nerve function and allowing your body to heal itself properly.

In 2001 Dr. John Elkins graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He practiced in Bellefontaine, Ohio for 6 years before relocating to his hometown of Wapakoneta.

Dr. John Elkins is proud to call Wapakoneta his hometown. His family has lived her since his grandparents owned the B&K Root Beer stand. He is married to Dr. Amy Elkins and together they have 4 children, Ashley, Nicholas, Max and Ava. When he is not busy with helping patients he is often cooking, exercising, playing guitar, golfing, building something or gardening. He has a big interest in diet, nutrition, exercise, computers and family.

Dr. Amy Elkins found the true meaning of health during her studies at chiropractic school. Dr. Amy Elkins believes that too often, we accept or drug pain as a part of our reality, rather than trying to find and eliminate its causes. Hear at Elkins Family Chiropractic our goal is to find the cause of the pain. We help you realize that pain is a symptom of an underling problem and covering up the symptoms with drugs can be detrimental to the body. Dr. Amy Elkins adjusts the spine to relieve nerve interference, therefore, improving nerve function and allowing your body to heal itself properly.

Dr. Amy believes that "A small part of my job is to relieve people from their aches and pains but more importantly, I assist in the body's natural healing process by improving nerve function. "

In 2002, Dr. Amy Elkins graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, the fountainhead of chiropractic. She travelled to Vietnam in 2002 to treat people with chiropractic care. She practiced in Carey, Ohio for four years before relocating to Wapakoneta

Dr. Amy Elkins grew up in Anna, Ohio. She is married to Dr. John Elkins and has four children, Ashley, Nicholas, Max and Ava. When she is not at work she can be found exercising, trying new things, hanging out with family or just traveling around the world.
